Through custom build planning policy, enacted on large development sites (typically 100 units or more) a market of 10,000 additional new homes a year is being established with a potential value of £4bn.
Responding to these conditions, XERA is developing a software as a service (SaaS) platform to enable volume housebuilders to deliver custom build homes at scale.

The SaaS platform called X-IST uses digital twin technology to digitalise the sale, design and delivery of customised homes at scale, in partnership with existing housebuilders and their delivery models.
X-IST will provide an Extended Reality environment for the homebuyer to configure their new home, using customised Digital Twin engine to store design specifications, cost and carbon information in the cloud.
Using API integrations, the homebuyers choices are communicated to the housebuilder, reducing the sales, specification and conveyancing timeline significantly. The Digital Twin can remain accessible post occupation, capturing in-use energy data.
The X-IST solution is at proof of concept TRL3 stage and we are actively seeking seed investment, to support technology systems, market penetration and growth.
